Two separate assessments

Admission and finance are decided independently.

A university offer does not guarantee a loan. A lender approval does not guarantee admission, CAS issuance or a UK Student visa.

ULaw admission assessment

Can you join the course?

  • Recognised bachelor’s degree and required academic result
  • English-language evidence where required
  • Relevant experience for courses that require it
  • Complete academic and identity documents
Lender assessment

  • Affordability and credit assessment
  • Bank statements and financial documents
  • Cosigner Required
Important: Final funding eligibility, approved amount and loan conditions are determined solely by the lender. GlobCred supports the process but does not make the lending decision.

Your living costs are not covered by the loan.

The student must independently arrange all maintenance funds and other costs required for the UK visa and relocation.

Tuition funding is only one part of your UK study budget.

Before proceeding, make sure you have a credible plan for accommodation, daily expenses, visa costs and travel.

Maintenance funds must meet the UKVI rules in force when you apply.

Current UKVI maintenance · Outside London£14,052£1,171 × 12 months

Straight answers

Before you proceed.

The essentials about approval, costs and responsibilities.

Is tuition funding guaranteed?

No. The lender decides eligibility, the approved amount and final conditions after reviewing the applicant’s profile, affordability and documents.

How is the 10% interest calculated?

It is a flat rate of 10% per annum. Over two years, Option 1 carries £3,000 interest on £15,000, while Option 2 carries £2,200 interest on £11,000.

What does the loan cover?

The loan covers only the tuition amount approved by the lender. It does not cover living costs, accommodation, the visa fee, Immigration Health Surcharge, flights or personal expenses.

When does repayment begin?

The first instalment of repayments begins after loan sanction and before loan disbursement.

Does a ULaw offer guarantee finance or a visa?

No. ULaw admission, lender approval, CAS issuance and the UK Student visa are separate decisions made by the relevant organisations.

When is the US$50 fee charged?

The application and loan processing fee applies before the application process. It is separate from tuition and loan repayment.
